MorseLife | PACE Program Expansion

About This Project

Palm Beach PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) has a mission to prevent unnecessary nursing home admissions and promote the comfort of home, family, and the community belonging essential to seniors’ sense of well-being, stability, and security. MorseLife commissioned Stephen Boruff, AIA, Architects + Planners, Inc. to provide comprehensive architectural and interior design services for this new 26,500 square foot center to expand their existing PACE program. Additionally, a ten-bed palliative care unit is planned to provide end of life care. The new building complements the existing buildings on the MorseLife campus, providing administrative, clinical, physical therapy, and activity spaces for a state-of-the-art center that offers first-class service to its residents. Highly sustainable, the building strikes a fine balance between providing a welcoming environment and offering the appropriate social, therapeutic, support, and security measures to minimize obstacles, facilitate participation in activities and promote wellness.
