Stephen Boruff, AIA Architects + Planners, Inc. is providing architectural services to Jupiter Medical Center for a 102,000 square feet Oncology Campus including three (3) major components; the 3-Story Foshay Cancer Center, the 2-story Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center and a supporting 2-Story Medical Office Building.
Conceptually, the multi-phased project, revolves around a central ‘core’, where the various program components ‘plug-in’, as funding becomes available. This ‘core’, which includes main building entries, a 2-story lobby and a roof garden; becomes a shared collaborative space as patients travel through a path of Diagnostic, treatment and survivorship. ‘Healing’ gardens also have been integrated to the campus’ west edge where reflecting pools and a body of water contribute the overall project’s goals of serenity.
