Groundbreaking: Pediatric Emergency Department & Observation Unit

On November 16, guests gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of Jupiter Medical Center’s Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department and the James J. Felcyn & Louise Brien Felcyn Observation Unit. The pediatric emergency department will feature eight rooms, a dedicated family waiting area, and indoor play areas to alleviate anxiety. The observation unit will help us meet the growing needs of our emergency room whereby our patients who need to be evaluated and tested over a longer period, up to 24 hours, will receive the proper monitoring they need.
